🛠 DevSecOps Toolchain Release 2.0.0 Map

Fireworks,

Now I will share a major release with you again, I previously told you about it here.

DevSecOps Toolchain Map is an interactive map of tools for DevSecOps and AppSec tools that helps architects, security specialists and developers consciously assemble and evolve their security-toolchain, and not “drag everything in a row.” The project focuses on practical applications: from minimal "one-man" toolset to complex landscapes in large organizations.

It’s with pleasure that I present to you a map of tools in the DevSecOps direction with more than 480 tools from both proprietary software and open-source projects with direct links to them. You can check the repository itself here.

The essence of the map is that it helps to select the optimal solutions for any conditions: when there is no budget, when it is impossible to implement a heavy corporate platform, when the team is small or you have to cover all roles alone, etc.

I work within the FinDevSecOps @fintechassociation community, as a leader and in my main direction. Just as I will publish it in the FDSO off-repository, you will also be the first to know about it.

Also, you can take part in this project and I will be glad to see your pull requests.

A cool and distinctive feature of the new release is:

- a completely redesigned version and styling based on mkdocs in the described release v2.0.0

- here you can look at the map and download it in PDF for yourself, it is automated and when the composition of the map changes, it is updated

- here you can click on the interactive map of tools and see what data is described

- here you can use the map with free search and by category

- here is a list of all the main licenses that I consider important for familiarization and you can read about them in my channel #licenses

- provided a list of Orthodox, foreign vendors and large open-source projects

- help on types of instruments

Read carefully about the project and especially about the rules and our code.

The project is growing and very soon you will see the contribution of large companies and their involvement within the FDSO community.

So stay tuned 😜
